Welcome to the department of Electronics and Communications Engineering of Sri Sarada Institute of science and Technology.
Electronics and communications engineering concepts and research are a component in almost everything we use today. It is nearly impossible to name an item around us that is in some way not impacted by Electronics and communications engineering.
At ECE, our goal is to teach students how to take practical knowledge and concepts, and apply them to solve real world problems and issues. It is expected that students who conscientiously apply themselves and successfully complete the engineering programs will not only be technically trained, but also humanistically and socially educated, and thereby be well prepared to make a significant contribution to the world in which they work. We offer an innovative, project-based undergraduate program with opportunities for off-campus projects.
ECE prides itself on its faculty-student interactions with a goal of creating exceptional students who will go out into the world equipped with the tools needed to be extraordinary engineers. Faculty are readily available to students in the department for coursework, laboratory questions, and academic and project advising. There is a team atmosphere in ECE devoted to outstanding research and education, mentoring students, and maintaining a nurturing environment.

Electronics and Communications Engineering remains one of the top-ranked engineering programs in the world. Electronic and Computer Engineering (ECE) has evolved into an exciting high technology discipline that has transformed many aspects of our daily life and will continue to shape our information-based society. A strong foundation in ECE core Subjects like VLSI Design, analog and digital communication, etc will open up a wide span of career opportunities including engineering and high-tech industries, finance and management, and teaching and research at universities worldwide. ECE is about electronic components, integrated circuits and microprocessors and consists of design, fabricate, test, maintain and supervise the manufacture of electronic equipment. This branch Of Engineering has a key place in the field of computers, Information Technology, Electrical, power system operations, communication systems etc.
The Department has sufficient number of qualified and experienced staff members.
It has sufficient space and equipment as per norms, There are 11 laboratories in the Department. Viz.
